I Haven't Abandoned You!

Hey Ladies,

I really an sorry for my recent lack of posts, but there is honestly nothing I can do about it. You see my laptop broke and it had to ey sent away again (this is the seven time in six months!) and it's taking a long time to come back. I am still reading posts by my favourite bloggers (May Loves Makeup, Beauty Crush, Peonies and Lilies, check then out if you haven't already, they're pretty fabulous!) on my iPod but it was only today I discovered I could post on it too! I don't think it will let me post pictures which is pretty crappy but oh well at least you know I'm not dead!

I think as an 'I'm Sorry' I'm going to have one whole month (not this month, I think May is best) of daiy posts, random blogs, any requests that you have I WILL do I promise! So, just commented below or email me at cuteascandie@hotmail.com to let me know what you'd like to see on my blog!

I thought it would be a good idea to, once a week do a random tags post just so you can get to know me. It would be so cool if you did one as a response to this and then told me about it so we could all get to know each other! :-)

1. What's your favorite color?
In general? Pink. To wear? Torquize, definatly.

2. What's your favorite number?
19. Purely because I was born on the 19th. Goodness, that makes me sound full of myself doesn't it?...

3. What is your dream career?
I really haven't a clue.. I've been thinking about being a Child Phsycologist but I'm still unsure.

4. Where do you see yourself living when you're on your own?
If by 'on you're own' you mean, 'when you leave home' then I'm not sure again, hopefully I get into Glasgow University so then obviously I would be living in Glasgow.

5. Where is your favorite place to travel?
I love travelling, absoloutly love it. I really want to travel the world, its one of my life abmitions. One of the places I want to visit desperatly is Austrailia.

6. What do you do in your free time?
I hate this question. Its like 'what are your hobbies', I don't have any! In my free time I just go to my friends houses and things like that.

7. Favorite clothing stores? 
I don't have just one, theres : Primark, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Quiz.. 

8. Dream car?
I really couldn't tell you.. I haven't got a clue about cars, not a clue! So I can't really this properly so I'm just going to say, a nice one?

9. What TV shows can't you live without?
If I'd been asked this question this time last year I definatly would have answered Lost. But since that ended, I can't really say that. Too be honest, no tv show in my opinion can ever match up to Lost.

10. 3 things you need in your life are...?
Family, Friends and happiness.

11. I can't sleep without...?
Having my neck covered.. Ever since I was little I can't sleep unless my neck is covered by my blankets incase vampires get me. Obviously, I don't still believe in vampires but its just a habit now and I can't sleep unless I do it.

12. If you were given 1 million dollars all for yourself what would you do with it?
I would give some to my mam, I would give some to a homeless charity, I would give some to a animal shelter and then I would probably do a MAJOR shopping spree.

13. I have a celebrity crush on...?

14. What is your favorite treat to eat?
Kiner Beunos, DEFINATLY!

15. My favorite wild animal is...?
This is a hard one.. Maybe a tiger?

16. What is your favorite season?
Spring, because were I live we get the best weather of the year in Spring. I also love Winter because of Christmas.

17. My favorite childhood shows were...?
It actually cannot be anything other than Scooby Doo. He is possibly the highlight of my childhood!

18. Why did you start doing Blogs?
Boredom got the best of me and I thought this would be a creative way to express myself.

19. What do you hold close to your heart?
Nothing really I supose.. Probably it would be my dog and a picture of me and my dad when I was a baby.

20. What is one music artist that you are in love with?

Montagne Jeunesse ♥

This is just a wee rave about Montagne Jeunesse and how much I love their wonderful products! I remember when I was little and I would steal my mam's face masques when she was busy and put them on myself. I have been using Montagne Jeunesse products for as long as I can remember and they really do work absoloute wonders!

At £1.01 buy a few is hardly going to break the bank and they are worth it in every single way. Montagne Jeunesse has a huge range of absoloutly everything! There is face masques, lip balms, face tonics, hair masques, foot and leg care products, body products, anti-aging, a mens range and more! It really is a good all rounder.

My personal favorites and re-purchases are :- Chocolate Mud Masque and Passion Peel Off

If you go onto the Monatgne Jeunesse website there is a little tab that says 'Gorgeous Free Stuff' and if you click on it you get the option to fill in a few questions then if you're 'randomly selected from, time to time you will recieve products in development' and when you return the questionairre to them they will send you a bundle of free stuff! Simples.

Check them out and you could end up with a load of free stuff, and lets face it who doesn't love free stuff?!

OPI Dupe ♥

As you might have heard OPI's Katy Perry range is pretty fantastic looking but it pretty steep in the price area too. Far enough if some people want to spend around £9 for one nail polish then good on them but I just can't afford that kind of luxury.

I did a bit of looking around and found this gorgous and brilliant dupe for Teenage Dream, a light pink glitter polish. Rimmel's 60 Seconds in 400 Starlet is the polish in hand. Its so gorgous and a dead ringer for Teenage Dream.

 

There is also a great dupe going around for the OPI Black Shatter Effect nail polish! Barry M Crackle Effect and just a fraction of the price!



Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick ♥

I bought this lipstick a while back and I absoloutly love it ♥

I picked this up for £6.99 in my local Superdrug but since then I've seen it for cheaper prices elsewhere so its worth having a look around before hand if the price bothers you but for me personally I thought it was quite reasonable.

Myself : "I did fall in love with the colour again and agian, however what I did not fall in love with was how easy the lipstick wears off... However saying this, I didn't liner my lips first so that might have something to do with the easily wearing off. It does feel delicously creamy and very moisturising which I love. This really isn't anything to do with Maybelline so I can't really fault them but I was quite disappionted at the range my Superdrug had. Out of the '37 Captivating Shades' my local had maybe 6/7? But as I said  I can't blame Maybelline *cue evils to Superdrug manager..*. "

I got this lippie in 165 Pink Hurricane. Its a deepish pink with a subtle shimmer when the light shines on it.

a dream come true ♥

For so so so many years I have wanted and been absoloutly craving a leopard print scarf. It might seem silly but all the ones I have seen so far have been either too thick, too thin, to short, too long or just plain not right. But that all changed when I popped into my local M&Co and saw this absoloute beauty! Words cannot describe how happy I am..

Its so pretty and an dead ringer for the Louis Vuitton one I had considered investing in. Also its £460 cheaper!

So without further ado, here is my new baby! (sorry about the picture quality, I lost the USB for my camera so I have to use my Blackbery..)
